Staying Positive in a Corrupt World: A Biblical Perspective

In a world where corruption and negativity seem to be ever-present, it's easy to feel overwhelmed or discouraged. But as believers, we are called to be the light in the darkness and to hold on to hope and righteousness, even when it's challenging.

Romans 12:21 (NIV) reminds us: "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." This verse encourages us to rise above the negativity and corruption around us by doing good and staying true to our values. When we choose to act with integrity and kindness, we not only protect our own hearts, but we also influence the world around us in a positive way.

Philippians 4:8 (NIV) also provides guidance: "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." By focusing our thoughts on what is good and pure, we can maintain a positive outlook and guard ourselves against the negative influences that seek to bring us down.

Finally, remember the promise in Isaiah 41:10 (NIV): "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." God is always with us, providing strength and support as we navigate the challenges of this world.

Staying positive in today's world isn't always easy, but with God's guidance and by focusing on what is good, we can overcome the darkness and be a source of light and hope to those around us.

    Romans12,1-2 says 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 
    2  And be not conformed to this world: but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
    No matter what we see around us, no matter how corrupt and cruel the world may be; we are encouraged not to conform ourselves to the pattern of this world. We are called to stick to the moral values and not to imitate the wrong things we see.
    And it takes a sacrifice. Let us sacrifice our body to please God. Let us renew your mind and see things God’s way. This corrupt world will soon collapse.
